The thing that gives a home that lived in, loved feel is all in the details.

I always find that when decorating a client's house the thing that is the hardest to get right and takes the longest are the details - 'the bits and pieces'. But for me, it's the attention to details that makes a house  : the cushions, the flowers, the quirky vintage finds, the antiques, the displays and the collections that give a home soul and personality.

It's All In The Details

For me interior design is all about attention to detail. I think the easiest part is to get the overall look and theme but what's often overlooked is the detail. To finish off a job properly one needs to consider artwork and decorator items that sit on mantels, coffee tables, kitchen bench tops and sideboards. It often takes me longer to find the right accessories than furnish the whole house! Here are some very sweet vintage details that give these spaces character and personality!
