Who isn't in love with Scandinavian design, crisp, clean and pure? This Danish summer house is no exception with it's layers of white, lime washed floorboards and low key neutrals. An oasis of light, openness and tranquility, providing the perfect escape from a hectic working life.  The attention to detail plays an important role in this house with little vignettes creating interest and personality throughout!

One of my favourite country looks is an all white look. Maybe not the most practical for country living but every time I see layered white on whites I fall in love with it and no one one does it better than the Scandinavians! These images are all drool worthy!!

White Wash and Linen - Swedish Style

I never tire of Scandinavian design, I love the rustic feel of the timber and all the crisp whites that they use. It makes me what to get on a plane and visit that part of the world to experience it all for myself. I would love to stay in a Swedish Summer house on a lake and rent a cottage just like the ones above. I'd also like to get in some shopping - I would go crazy with all those beautiful homewares and furniture! It would also be nice to spend time just relaxing in cafes, watching the people go by and wander around the streets soaking up the atmosphere!
